Standard Software Maintenance Plan (MP)

Standard Software Maintenance Plans provide automatic maintenance updates and upgrades of the installed software for a full year from the Maintenance Plan purchase date.  Customers without maintenance plans must purchase product upgrades to the next version as they become available in order to keep their product up to date.  All applications purchased include the first yar of maintenance.  Typically, updates and upgrades will be available via the Internet and can be downloaded at anytime with an appropriate user name and password.  Yearly Maintenance Plan rates are 20% of the current retail price of the installed products at the time of the contract renewal.

*Note: All packages listed include free first year maintenance.  Future year maintenance plans will be automatically invoiced to the installation site.  Upon payment of new maintenance plans, access will be granted to the TransActPOS FTP website for update retrievals.  Required hardware is not included within the stated pricing.  Hardware quotes are made on an individual basis.

Original purchases include free maintenance plan subscriptions for the first year.

 

User Licensing Policy

The licensing structure of TransActPOS is based upon concurrent users of the system.  TransActPOS Lite, TransActPOS Basic, and TransActPOS Deluxe include a single user license.  Additional user licenses are required to all additional concurrent users.   User licenses should be determined upon required concurrent workstation and wireless device operation. 

 

Installation and Conversion Services

Profile Systems Design Group, Inc. can provide training, installation and conversion services upon request.  Please contact us with specific information regarding your current system and the accuracy of the data.   We can help you determine the route when decide to convert or restart your installation from scratch.  TransActPOS has a variety of utilities and import formats to allow the import of customer and inventory data. The objective is to create a viable system in the end; planning and understanding your options will certainly make the process much easier.  Quotes upon request.

 

Supported Products

TransAct Point of Sale products prior to TransActPOS are not supported products as of January 1, 2003.  Only TransActPOS series products and modules are supported.  Customers with previous versions of TransAct may upgrade to the current version of TransActPOS Retail Solutions Software. 

 

Remote Support Annual Subscription

TransActPOS provides option for direct desktop support with TransActPOS Remote Support.  This subscription service allows customer to receive desktop support on any compatible workstation within their network.  Desktop system must have internet access to provide this support option.  The Remote Support Annual Subscription only allows a desktop communication link and does not provide software updates that are a part of the Standard Software Maintenance Plans.
