TransActPOS_™ first certified point-of-sale software with True Value Company, Inc. Afaria Project

Madisonville, KY, March 17, 2006:   Profile Systems Design Group, Inc. announced today that True Value Company has certified TransActPOS software to be a fully compliant interface for the True Value Company, Inc.’s Afaria communication software.  TransActPOS software allows True Value Member stores to communicate seamlessly through the internet with True Value Company’s mainframe computer system.  This functionality enables True Value Member stores to work more efficiently by streamlining the data flow between their stores and True Value Company Headquarters.

TransActPOS is an affordable point of sale software solution that enables True Value Member Stores to become more efficient and profitable by receiving timely data from True Value Company headquarters.  TransActPOS takes this data, sorts and displays it in user friendly formats, enabling True Value Store owner/managers to make better informed decisions in less time.

Technically, TransActPOS is a 32-bit database application, built upon Microsoft's Visual FoxPro 9.  This data-centric, object-oriented language provides the programming staff with the tools to develop and distribute world class applications.  The TransActPOS Build 200 was released on March,1 2006 and takes full advantage of Visual FoxPro 9.

Additionally, the TransActPOS application can installed on workstations running Windows XP, the operating system. Network installations can choose between peer-to-peer networks created with Windows XP or Windows 2003 Server.  Installations with the need for multiple wireless devices can add Windows 2003 Terminal Server to leverage the addition functionality the TransActPOS Wireless application.
