“No Sales Tax” Sale Promotion Enhancement available with build 194!  Upon request from some of our current TransActPOS customers, we have added an enhancement enabling you to compete with “Big Box” stores by setting up a promotion that is marketed as a “No Sales Tax” Sale.  TransActPOS automatically creates a sales tax coupon item during when an invoice is created for the amount of the sales tax on the invoice.  Simply create the “No Sales Tax” sale in the promotion file indicating the effective dates and you are ready to go. The sales tax discount can be limited to only non-discounted items.  End of month Sales and Use tax reporting is not adversely affected by the sale.
