Note: To get the most out of your TransActPOS system, select receipt printers which have Windows drivers. Generic Text printer drives will work but due to the limitations of the printer drive, you will not be able to advantage of all the available features of the application. The following printers have been tested and have a proven track record with our customers. Please call if any questions regarding possible alternative units and we will be happy to work with you.
Epson TM-H6000III Receipt/Journal Check/Charge Validation Printer
The TM-H6000III is a high-performance multifunction printer with high-speed receipt printing, drop-in validation for deposit slips, checks, cashier checks and batch tickets, high-resolution graphics, superior slip handling and the highest reliability in its class, making the TM-H6000III with Validation an ideal choice for both retail This single printer can be configured to print receipts, validate checks, and print gift certificates within TransActPOS. We picked up this printer recently and have been very impressed with the speed of the unit. For those installations that require validation of checks and want the speed of thermal printing - this is the way to go.

Epson TM-U375 Receipt/Journal Check/Charge Validation Printer

The TM-U375 point-of-sale printer features a 1.5 station dot matrix printer capable of printing three ways: 40 column receipt/journal printing using two-ply paper, 15 lines check/charge validation, and unlimited lines of slip printing. Additionally, the small footprint, high speed TM-U375 prints one original and two copies for added convenience.

This single printer can be configured to print receipts, validate checks, and print gift certificates within TransActPOS.

This unit will provide the same functionality as theTM-H6000 but prints the receipt and validation with a dot matrix print head - therefore the speed will be slower than the H6000. You need to consider the cost of the two units and the time require for each transaction when deciding which printer is best for you.

Epson TM-T88II Thermal Printer w/Auto Cutter

This unit has certainly been the workhorse for most of our installations. With the reduction of check payments and the reduced need for validation of checks, this thermal printer provides fast printing speeds.
