Electronic Signatures Electronic pad durability and economics has been the driving force to provide our customers with a better electronic signature solution. As of February 2005, the ePAD will now be available to provide our customers with a USB interface for capturing signatures. The cost of the ePAD unit is about $115 versus our previous solution of $395 thus making it even more affordable. With the integration of thermal receipt printers and laser report printers, overall efficiencies can be increased dramatically over traditional account charge processes.
Electronic Capture further reduces the time required to maintain customer accounts after the sale has been completed. The daily and end-of-month time requirements of processing accounts receivable have been dramatically reduced.

How it works: Clerk rings items to purchase and selects account charge. The customer signs the electronic signature pad and the clerk accepts signature. The signature will now appear on the invoice for the customer, any reprints of the invoice and on the customer statement. A dramatic reduction in paper handling!
